Disability Training

NRT-LogoThe Skills Training Centre offers a variety of courses at no cost to eligible jobseekers. All training is of the highest quality and aims to give participants both the underpinning knowledge and practical skills they require to be successful in the workplace.

Training is backed by trainers who have relevant and current industry experience, as well as the ability to build real relationships with students, empowering them with confidence for the workforce.

Funding information:

Many of these courses are government funded, which means there are no costs to eligible jobseekers. Read below to check if you are eligible.

PPP – Productivity Places Program

  • PPP funding is available for most of our Certificate II and III level courses. It means that all jobseekers can access these courses at no cost.
  • This funding is provided by the Department of Education and Training

PWD - People with a Disability

  • A number of courses are available at no cost to anyone who has a disability. This might include someone who has an intellectual impairment, psychiatric disability, physical, hearing or vision impairment or an acquired brain injury.
  • This funding is provided by the Department of Education and Training.

PPP – SQW

  • Free for all jobseekers under Queensland & Australian Government  Skilling Queenslanders for Work & PPP Funding.
