We care about people
At the heart of who we are, is our people. These are people with disability who we support through our services and infrastructure, employ within our commercial businesses and also assist to find meaningful work in the open job market. The most important part in all of this, is that each person at HELP is empowered to live their best life, unrestricted and encouraged to achieve all that they are capable of. This is of course made possible by our dedicated staff, who believe in the HELP mission because everything we do comes back to our purpose.
ENHANCE THE LIFESTYLE, INDEPENDENCE AND AMBITIONS OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITY
HELP is a registered charity and not-for-profit organisation. We operate within a Quality Management System based upon ISO 9001:2016 and which includes the workplace health and safety certification AS4801.
what makes us different?
HELP is a unique organisation, which is evident in our business make-up and diverse range of offerings. The sheer volume of ways in which we can help or work with our customers is what sets us apart from other social enterprises.
Of a commercial nature, we currently operate Help Supply Chain Services, Help Manufacturing (including product brands MailSafe, ShadeSafe, BinSafe and GarageSafe), Oxford Park Nursery, Boronia Brew and Goodwill Brew. We also deliver Disability Employment Services (DES) through our Help Employment division.
The key to our commercial success, stems from our sustainable approach and the more important stuff – helping people.
helping our community
On the community front, we are a respected disability service provider operating in the not-for-profit sector since 1968. Our commercial initiatives have led to HELP’s growth and flexibility in this area, including how we support people with disability now and in the future under a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Whether it is day support, preparing for work, pathways from school, assistance in the home, respite for families or community access – our Help Disability Care can tailor support to individual needs. As part of providing the disability community with whole-of-life support, we also build homes and other social assets through our more recent disability housing initiative.
Our Vision
To create a trusted and values-based social enterprise where we carefully balance the provision of quality, individualised services with long-term financial stability.
