Armed with a background in psychology, and a wealth of experience in the aged care sector Fiona decided to take on a new challenge and embark on a career in disability care with HELP. 3 years on, Fiona now heads up our Defence Administrative Assistance Program (DAAP) as Coordinator at Enoggera and Amberley base, working with the Australian Defence Force to provide new and exciting employment opportunities for people with disability.

I developed behaviour management plans for advancing dementia to promote quality of life, the dignity of risk, and general well-being. I have a Bachelor of Psychology and love using these skills in my job to better understand my participants and staff. I have 2 wonderful sons (ok I am biased) and am happily married.
