If you believe that there has been an error with your donation, or if the donation is made accidentally or there is an extremely unusual circumstance, you should notify us directly on 07 3868 1765 and confirm that notice in writing or by email to email@example.com as soon as possible so that we can resolve your query. Due to the nature of charity donations, refunds are given at the discretion of our management. Therefore please make sure that the amount you enter is the amount you wish to give. Please note the following:
- We will refund if there was an error with the donation processing;
- We will refund if the donor entered the wrong amount and it exceeds the intended amount; and
- We will refund if the recurring donation did not cancel correctly when/as requested.
If a donation is refunded, the associated tax receipt is no longer valid so it should be deleted or shredded.
Donations cannot be cancelled if we have already notified a third party of its receipt. Any issues should be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org in the first instance so that we can attempt to resolve the matter. If you are not satisfied with the outcome you can still refer it to your financial institution which will obtain details of the disputed transaction and may lodge a claim on your behalf.
